The Winelands has a new venue where country style is given a chic, sophisticated edge.
deHuguenot Estate is situated on the Helshoogte Road between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, in the picturesque Banghoek Valley. Magnificent views surround the property to provide a perfect backdrop to your function.
Weddings of up to 120 guests can be accommodated. Four luxurious suites (100m2 each) are available as part of the boutique hotel.
Dining
For more formal dining deHuguenot restaurant faces the mountain with extensive views of the Groot Drakenstein range from every table – filtered through the branches of a giant oak estimated to be over 200 years old.
The Harry-Q bar is situated of the lower level and leads onto an enclosed courtyard on the level of the giant oak. The food is Tapas style and can be ordered and shared among friends in a relaxed informal setting. A separate kitchen is on hand to service the bar from early till late as demand dictates.
Accommodation
Five star accommodation is provided for guests in truly luxurious suites comprising Lounge, Bedroom, Open plan bathroom and separate loo. A cozy day-bed is provided in each suite with a current state of the art flat screen TV. A complimentary mini-bar is included with on-site internet access in all rooms.
Suites on the lower level open onto a large swimming pool (12m) and separate garden. The suite on the upper level as its own private plunge pool, is totally private and ideally situated for pre-function preparations.
